Happiness Research Project

happy imageAfter visiting the QUT Smart Train, Students were given the opportunity to participate in an actual research project by world famous scientists at QUT.

The scientists want to know the level of happiness of school children across Queensland to help them think of ways to make Australians happier. They were also interested in how students felt about looking after the world we live in.

By completing an online survey students were eligible to enter in the random draw for the Happiness Prize of an Apple iPod Nano for you and $1000 for your school to buy science equipment. (Click here to view the Prize Draw terms and conditions)

The prize draw closed at 5pm, Friday 4th July, 2008.

The winning Happy Number was drawn at random, and was not based on the answers given in the survey.

The winner is Aaron Grierson from Emerald Chrisitan College.

Congratulations Aaron on winning the Apple iPod Nano for you and $1000 for your school to buy science equipment.

Thank you to all other students that participated, the results will be available on this page soon.
